What the public demo collects: nothing. The demo console at proofvisor.com/app/ runs in your browser against built-in sample data. It stores only your theme and the demo state in your browser’s localStorage, which “Reset demo data” clears. The hosted service at api.proofvisor.com is live, and the terms below apply to it.
Draft (not yet reviewed by counsel). This page ships to make the launch surface complete. Before real customer signups it must be replaced by counsel-reviewed copy.
Terms of service
Last updated: 2026-11-01.
By signing up for ProofVisor (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't sign up.
1. The service
ProofVisor is a policy enforcement + audit-receipt layer for AI
agents. You install a small daemon in your infrastructure; it enforces
the guardrails you configure. If you run pvctl console-sync,
it uploads session summaries and signed receipts to the hosted
control plane at api.proofvisor.com.
2. Your data
We store the metadata your daemon posts (session summaries, tool invocations, receipt signatures). We do NOT store the plaintext LLM prompts, completions, or tool arguments. Password hashes use argon2id. Everything is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (managed provider defaults).
An organization owner can export all of the organization’s data at any time with Settings → General → “Download my data”. An owner who is the organization’s only member can delete it with Settings → General → “Delete organization & account” (“Delete this workspace” if you belong to other organizations), which triggers a cascade delete of every deployment, session, event, and receipt in your organization.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to enforce policies on illegal content, spam, or copyright-infringing material. Don't try to break into other tenants' data. Don't try to make the service unavailable to others (i.e., no DoS).
4. Uptime
The pitch-stage service runs on free-tier infrastructure. See STATUS for current SLOs. We don't yet offer contractual uptime guarantees.
5. Fees
The pitch demo is free. Paid tiers, if introduced, will require an additional agreement.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend an account that violates §3 with reasonable notice, except for incidents that require immediate action (security).
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect damages. This is the standard limitation you'd expect from a startup SaaS.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes go to the courts of Paris.
